Mako to Host Disability Resource Fair
October 1, 2026
HARRISBURG – In an effort to assist individuals with disabilities and their families, Rep. Zach Mako (R-Lehigh/Northampton) will soon host his third annual Disabilities Resource Fair.
The free event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Union Lutheran Church, 5500 Route 873, Schnecksville.
“This event has been a highlight of mine,” Mako said. “Empowering those with disabilities, their loved ones and caregivers with the resources to create opportunities to live life to the fullest should never be discounted. Whether you have attended in the past or this will be your first time, I look forward to seeing you.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with nearly 40 local, state and federal agencies and organizations offering information on programs and services available to both individuals with disabilities and caregivers.
Light refreshments will be available, as well as live music courtesy of Hearts for Music, an organization that creates opportunities for individuals with disabilities to pursue their love of creating and performing music in an ensemble setting.
The 183rd District includes Lowhill and North Whitehall townships and Slatington Borough in Lehigh County. It also consists of Allen, East Allen, Lehigh and Moore (part) townships, and Bath, North Catasauqua, Northampton and Walnutport boroughs in Northampton County.
